Brian J. Spencer, a seasoned storm chaser, videographer, and tornado enthusiast from Canada, has spent years pursuing the raw power of extreme weather. As a former lead driver and guide for Cloud 9 Tours from 2016 to 2022, he has led countless storm enthusiasts across Tornado Alley, capturing over 50 tornadoes along the way.

His fascination with storms ignited in 2007 after watching Angry Planet’s episode on waterspouts and Discovery Channel’s Storm Chasers, sparking a lifelong passion for the chase. In 2022, he faced his most intense encounter yet—surviving the direct impact of an EF-3 wedge tornado in Lockett, Texas.

Beyond the chase, Brian is dedicated to storm education and safety, regularly speaking to high school students about tornadogenesis, storm preparedness, and chase strategy. Whether in the field or in conversation, he enjoys connecting with guests, swapping stories from under the meso, and sharing invaluable tips on the art of storm chasing.
