Tour 2, 2003 Summary
Tour synopsis: Unlike the frenetic, fast-paced first tour, this trip has been much more typical of the U.S. severe storm seasons of late: a handful of chase days that present good opportunities to observe significant severe thunderstorms and a few tornadoes. This group was able to capitalize on those chances.

Day 5 - May 15: Several significant tornadic supercells observed: (1) Boise City, OK (tornadic); (2) Griggs, OK (probably tornadic; too distant to confirm ground contact); (3) northeastern Dallam County, TX (tornadic); (4) northern Moore, southern Sherman County, TX (tornadic)
Day 6 - May 16: Non-tornadic severe thunderstorms over southeastern Oklahoma and northeastern Texas.
Day 7 - May 18: Photogenic shelf cloud associated with an outflow-driven severe thunderstorm with mid-level mesocyclone over northeastern Colorado.
Day 8 - May 19: Photogenic "stack-of-plates" supercell with large hail over southern Oklahoma.
