The tour prices were determined from a thorough cost analysis formula. We determined the price we must charge in order to accommodate any number of paying participants. We balanced the revenue against all of the costs incurred while operating the tour such as: vehicle purchase and/or rental, lodging, fuel, business expenses, equipment use, data acquisition (i.e. cell phone operation and long distance service for the retrieval of data). If we fill up each tour with the maximum number of passengers per tour we make a fair profit. Compared to other professional tour guides who lead novices through similar specialized activities, our prices are quite reasonable.

1. Tours 1 through 4 costs $2600/person (the intensive training tour costs $3300/person) for the ten day tour, and tours 5 through 7 costs $1900.00/person for the six day tour. The listed prices include all expenses EXCEPT travel to and from the base city, food and incidentals. It also includes bottled water! It includes, of course, ground transportation during the tour. 
   
   
2. We require a non-refundable deposit of $600.00 to reserve your slot payable by personal check, cashier's check, or money order. In addition, a cancellation within 6 weeks of your tour will be subject to a 25% penalty ($600). This is necessary since (as you can well imagine) cancellations wreak havoc on our operation.
