June 15, 2002 Oklahoma Panhandle Landspout Tornado
We had quite a surprise today! Racing south to keep pace with a raging squall line's leading edge and the remarkable 'gustnadoes' forming at the outflow's leading edge, we saw a new updraft to our west sporting a rotating dust bob at the ground. Before long a condensation funnel developed and made contact with the ground - a tornado!
