Northland Lecture Tour Captures Beautiful Storm June 24th! - Friday, June 26, 2009

The Northland Lecture Tour intercepted a beautifully structured, long lived tornadic supercell in south central South Dakota on June 24th.

Tour 6 Catches Aurora, Nebraska Monster June 17th! - Wednesday, June 17, 2009

Tour 6 struck it rich again today with at least 5 tornadoes, culminating with the violent Aurora, Nebraska tornado.

Tour 6 Intercepts South Dakota Beast June 16th! - Tuesday, June 16, 2009

Tour 6 intercepted a tornadic supercell near Menno, South Dakota. The storm was tornado warned for nearly 5 hours! We caught it from the beginning stages through the entire life cycle of the storm. Likely EF-1 type damage was witnessed in town.

Tour 6 Strikes it Rich! June 15th!

On day 2, Tour 6 hit paydirt near Belpre, Kansas today, intercepting a multivortex/turned cone tornado and another tapered cone tornado!

Tour 1 Keeps Rockin' - Wednesday, April 29, 2009

Tour 1 intercepted a well-structured supercell that developed in moist upslope flow in Southeast New Mexico on April 28. They are also chasing a tornadic supercell today, April 29, in the Texas panhandle east of Planview. They have witnessed one incredible tornado already. Images forthcoming soon.

Tour 1 Intercepts Strong Tornado in Oklahoma!! - Sunday, April 26, 2009

The arrival day for Tour 1 proved volatile as early arrivals intercepted two tornadoes near Crawford, Oklahoma. The tour season starts off with a bang!

On Call Tour Intercepts Kansas Tornadoes on March 23rd!

On Call Tour Interepts Kansas Tornadic Supercell on March 7, 2009!

Roger Hill led a hearty group on an on call tour into southern Kansas, Saturday March 7th. They intercepted several tornado warned supercells including one that produced the tornado below.

On-Call Tour Catches Texas tornado! - Tuesday, February 10, 2009

Roger Hill intercepted two damaging tornadoes near Ringgold, TX near the Red River at 6:25 pm CST and another near Rubottom, OK at 7:03 PM CST. This storm would spawn the EF-4 killer Lone Grove, OK tornado an hour later.
