Bill Kessler
Tour Guide

Hi everyone!  My name is Bill Kessler, born in Wisconsin (relaxing part of the country), but raised in New England (okay, a nice area, but a little more hectic than Wisconsin!).  I started chasing in 2005 after selling the family business (a small restaurant), and chased with the best (SLT of course!) the last three years.  I feel privileged to be able to work with such a great group, Roger and David are not only great chasers, but great teachers as well.  Their chases aren’t tours, they are family outings.  My passion for storms started young, I used to get in trouble on family trips because I was so excited to see a storm coming in.  I am fortunate to experience this desire for excitement in my job as well, I am Deputy Chief/EMT-I for the Uxbridge Fire Department in Uxbridge, MA.  I have been doing this for 20 years, first as on-call FF while I was an accountant/info systems person in the corporate world (I know, from accountant to storm chaser / fire fighter is a stretch!), then as a career FF/EMT the past 8 years.  I can’t wait for the 2011 Tour 6, and I hope to see you out there and help you experience a time you won’t forget.
