We at Silver Lining Tours are pleased to announce the 2010 Tours. The prices below are for a complete tour package that includes: arrival day lodging, lodging on each of the tour days, tour t-shirts, and a professionally edited highlights DVD. The only items excluded are airfare and/or other expenses that you incur in traveling to and from the meeting city, daily meals and incidentals (e.g., souvenirs).
For the 10-day tours (including the specialty offerings), room-sharing parties will receive a total discount of $300.00 ($150 per room-sharing participant). For the 6-day tours, the room-sharing discount is $200.00 ($100 per person). Larger discounts are available for groups of 6 or more (provided there are 2 people per room).
MULTI-TOUR DISCOUNT: We once again offer a multi-tour discount. Sign up for any TWO consecutive 6-day tours and receive a $150 discount off each trip. Sign up for any TWO 10-day tours and receive a $250 discount off each trip! If taking advantage of the multi-tour discount, neither the room-sharing discount nor lifetime discount (if applicable) shall apply.
HOW TO RESERVE A SPACE:

E-mail us to obtain the password necessary to access the relevant online tour agreement (6-day version, 10-day version, Tour 3, Tour 4, Great Plains Lecture Tour version, North Land Lecture version or Canadian Prairies Tour version (see below for descriptions of the various offerings)). The same password will access our 2010 brochure. In addition, to our tour agreement, we now also require an indemnity waiver. Both require a recent version of the Adobe Acrobat reader, freely available here. Carefully read the tour agreement and call David with any questions. By signing this agreement you are completely indemnifying the tours and accepting responsibility for all of the risk that such an expedition entails.

Sign and complete the agreement and waiver, returning it to Silver Lining Tours along with your non-refundable $600.00 deposit (10-day tours and specialty offerings), $500 deposit for the 6-day . Alternatively, you may pay the deposit using a credit card (MasterCard and Visa only; fees applicable). Please see Item #5 under Tour Details in the side bar for the necessary details about how to do this.

Inform David or Roger (via email or phone) that you have mailed or are about to mail the tour agreement and deposit – at that point your spot is secure.

Make your flight arrangements to/from Oklahoma City for Tours 1 – 3 and Great Plains Lecture Tour, or to/from Denver for Tours 4-6 and the North Land Lecture Tour, or to/from Rapid City, South Dakota for the Canadian Prairies Tour.

Status as of March 9, 2010:
One space has recently re-opened on our very popular and previously long sold-out Tour 3. Tour 1 now has only 2 openings. Both our acclaimed Northland Lecture and Canadian Prairies Tours have limited availability at this time. Please do not wait too long to book the 2010 tour of your choice since there is a good chance that most will be sold out soon.
There were several changes made to the tour pricing AND availability for 2010. Due to the persistent incredibly high demand for Tours 3 and 4, we have seen these tours truly balloon in size in recent years. Therefore, we are raising the price of these extremely popular tours a small amount in order to help us justify limiting the size of these trips, thereby minimizing the inconveniences and long delays suffered by all during rest stops, meal stops, and the like. We are also pleased to remind you that - as always - all 2010 tours will be led by living legend storm chaser and SLT co-owner, Roger Hill.
Legend for the schedule table shown above: "ARRIVAL DAY" - the day set aside for you to travel to the base city; this is the day prior to the first chase day of your tour; "DEPARTURE DAY" - the day set aside for you to depart the base city after your tour has concluded; this the day after the last chase day of your tour. "FIRST CHASE DAY" - the first full day of storm chasing for your tour. "LAST CHASE DAY" - the last full day of storm chasing for your tour.
Note: On-call chasing expeditions will be conducted as conditions warrant throughout the early spring and fall, but will be of secondary priority during our fixed schedule tours from April 26 through June 30.
